We’re extremely excited to share with you a brand new feature that is now built directly into the Re:amaze platform!

Push notifications marketing, or sometimes known as web push marketing, is an essential part of any successful brand’s toolkit. Being able to inform customers about new products, exciting discounts, or any reason to come back even though they’re not on your website can make all the difference.

Re:amaze Push Campaigns allows you to amass an audience as you grow your business and increase conversions at scale and over time. It’s also one of the simplest and most effective ways of communicating with customers regardless of whether they are online or offline.

Why Push Campaigns?

A modern customer communications platform should be greater than the sum of its parts. A great platform needs to transform the way you work and challenge you to think about how certain things should work.

Businesses around the world are more conversational than ever before. Consumers’ expectations and preferences for where, how, and when they shop are changing faster than ever before. How Does It Work?

Re:amaze Push Campaigns will allow you to send browser (and Android) based push notifications to customers who have agreed to receive these notifications. One of the greatest advantages of push notifications is that it can be sent to customers even if they have not provided their email address. Push notifications can also be delivered to customers even when they’re not currently on your website.

In order for Re:amaze to start delivering push notifications to subscribed customers, you’ll need to go through a very simple set up step, depending on what website platform you use. Please refer to this article for more details.

Collecting Audience Permissions

There are many different ways to collect push notification permissions. Some of you may already be using another service provider to collect these so called “permissions” or “tokens”. If you don’t currently collect permissions from customers, we recommend using Re:amaze’s built-in Cues feature to prompt for permissions. Refer to this article for details.

Collecting permissions through Re:amaze Cues is the recommended method because it allows you to prompt for notifications more than once. Traditionally, if you prompt for permissions directly through the browser’s interface and customers select “No” or “Block”, you will no longer be able to prompt for notifications again. Using Re:amaze Cues will allow you to only trigger the final browser-based prompt when they click on the affirmative in the Cue.

Measuring Success

Basic Push Campaign analytics will be displayed on your Re:amaze dashboard. As the sending progress updates, you’ll be able to see what percentage of your available audience has received notifications.

In addition, Re:amaze automatically feeds engagement data directly to Google Analytics so you get visibility on the performance of your campaigns automatically. See this article for details.

One Step At A Time

Push Campaigns is currently available to every trial and subscribed Re:amaze account at no cost but on a limited sending capacity. As we roll out additional features and updates please expect to see more details around pricing, increased sending capacities, and additional customization options.

Accounts using Re:amaze Basic and Re:amaze Pro will support a free send limit of 1,000 push notifications per account per month.

Accounts using Re:amaze Plus will support a free send limit of 2,000 push notifications per account per month.

Supported browsers for Re:amaze Push Campaigns include Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera browsers. Re:amaze Push Campaigns can also send to Android-based mobile devices.

At this time, Apple’s Safari browser and iOS-based mobile devices are not supported.
